Troy and Jessica Thompson

Does the name "Jennifer Wilbanks" ring a bell? On April 25, 2005 she got a major case of cold feet 5 days before her wedding and high-tailed it across the country, initiating a media circus in Duluth, Georgia the likes of which we're not likely to see again in these parts for a while. Jessica is in the cast of the Duluth, GA-based Red Clay Theater production, Runaway Bride, opening March 13, 2008. She was quoted in the Gwinnett Herald

"It's been really fun working on the set," said Jessica Thompson, whose roles include the mayor and the mother of the bride. "This reminds me of one of those old British drawing room farces where everyone is running in and out of doors and coming out as a new character."
